Farm Babies

So far we have:

2 heifers
1 bull calf
2 doelings (baby goats)

Still to come (maybe)

1 calf
2 baby goats

We aren't sure on two of the mommies so we will see.

I will post pictures when I get my roaming camera back.
You will see how cute they all are. Spring is soooo fun on the farm! And I get to milk goats again soon. So much fun!

Recipe for inexpensive laundry soap

You can't beat this for good cleaning and easy on the pocket book.

Liquid Laundry Soap

4 cups water
1 Fels-Naptha bar of soap
1 cup Washing Soda
1/2 cup Borax
Essential oil

Grate the bare of Fels-Naptha and dissolve in 4 cups water over warm burner. Fill 5 gallon bucket half full with warm water and add Washing Soda and Borax. Stir until dissolved. Add dissolved Fels-Naptha and add warm water to fill remainder of bucket. Add essential oil for fragrance and stir every 15 to 30 minutes until thick. Use 1/4 cup for front load and 1/2 cup for top load machines.

Works great! I don't use essential oils because they are expensive. I like my clothes to smell clean not perfumed.

I have heard rumors that I don't make many entries in my Blog. Well I want to prove all those rumors wrong! This won't be a typical blog because I want to share some of the things I do with all of you. And please pass them on to others.
